I'm an Italian guy with a passion for science and technology. Here I want to share some of the things I've done, especially related to my interests, experiments, studies and jobs. It's pretty much a bunch of hyper-technical stuff, but I hope you'll find something interesting.
I work with the LIGO gravitational-wave detectors and the Fermi satellite to discover and study extremely energetic astrophysical transient events, in particular the coalescence of black holes and neutron stars. I'm currently a postdoctoral fellow at Goddard Space Flight Center, after a PhD at the Max Planck Institute for Gravitational Physics.
Some software I wrote to learn and play with various math-related topics.
Signal processing and radio reception experiments.
